The shades are cone shaped and seated in silver-toned metal socket shields attached to a gold-toned brass one-piece metal rod. The curved rod vertically extends left and right and attaches to the shields holding the shades. There are metal clips inside the shields that grasp the shade to hold it in place. One shade is by design positioned 2 higher than the other. The on/off switch is located on the center front.
16 1/4, Width at widest point... The electric cord is 5'-6 long. This lamp is in very good vintage pre-owned working condition with light wear and tarnish on the rod. There are no cracks or chips to the blown glass shades, but a tiny air dimple on one shade, hardly noticeable, but worthy of disclosure. One of the interior clips is dislodged, but does not alter shade from resting securely in socket shield. There is no designer's mark or date on the base underside, however, it is probable that this lamp was created in the 1950's-60's. This lamp is clean, ready to use and sure to garner the attention of even the most casual observer. FREE LOCAL PICK-UP is also welcomed. Thanks for viewing and for your consideration.
