Vintage Mid Century Modern Danish Hanging Light Pendant Wall Mount Swing Arm Lamp. This working vintage Mid Century Modern Danish wall hung swivel-arm pendant lamp has a great look and is clean and in good condition over all. It appears to have the original lamp cord and in line switch which also appears to be in very good condition. The matte frosted white glass globe is in very good condition as well. The height of the globe is 6 1/2" H and the width at the widest point is 9 1/2" W.

The bottom opening of the globe is 4 1/2. The gracefully curved swiveling wooden hanging arm wall mounting bracket extends 15 3/4 into the room. The wooden wall mounting bracket is 5" L x 1 3/8" W.

The mounting holes are 4 1/8 on center apart from each other. The swivel feature is a simple design. A hollowed dowel is affixed to the curved arm which then fits neatly into a hole in the mounting bracket which allows the piece to swivel. This is a stress point in the design as it supported the weight of the suspended lamp. The dowel has cracked due to time and weight and need to be replaced before the fixture can be mounted.

It seems a simple fix but one which I don't have time for. The lamp cord length is adjustable and is approximately 76 L from the mounting fixture to the wall socket depending upon what height the hanging light is positioned at. The cord is locked into place by an adjustable plastic tension screw on the wall bracket.
