Very rare and desirable MCM excellent condition lamp! This is a large original vintage (probably around 1950's) brass table lamp with shade in the Atomic Era Space Age Flying Saucer style. With the short finial it is approximately 34" tall and the shade has a 19" diameter and is 8 tall. It has a total of 9 lights with the top center light usually not showing as the shade hides it. I photographed it on a higher surface so it is showing more in my photos than it would when sitting on most tables.

It has a 3 position switch on the base that allows you to light only the 8 surrounding bulbs, or light only the 1 center bulb, or light all of the bulbs at once. The switch works perfectly and all of the lights work too. The brass base is about 7" in diameter with the switch adding another 1". The base looks like a flying saucer from the 1950's era.

There is a spot in the brass in the front of the lamp. Photo #5 shows it best, right below the glare from the flash. The brass has the nice vintage look - not bright and shiny. There is a dent in the front base and the last 2 photos show it well. The plug looks like it could be an old replaced plug - though not sure. Two of the surrounding lamps have a minor issue, but still light fine. One doesn't allow the bulb to go down far into the socket and one is sort of loose so you can't feel how tight it is, but it works. We will include the surrounding bulbs that we got with it BUT YOU SHOULD NOT USE THESE FOR VERY LONG. They are 25 watt and we strongly feel that is too much wattage for this lamp!

We will also include the center bulb that we are using which is an LED type bulb. The cooler temperature of the bulbs will be easier on the life of the original shade - and we think it is more appropriate for the old wiring.
