Vintage 60s Orange Takahashi Mushroom Lamps Mid Century Modern Lighting Japan

  

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a pair of vintage Takahashi mushroom lamps (Japan). The bases on both are vibrant orange. There is a small notch out of the base on the rear side on each of the lamps for the electrical cord to run through so that the lamps rest flush on whatever surface they are placed on. Each lamp still retains its original sticker label inside on the bottom of the base (see photos).

Each lamp comes outfitted with an inline on/off switch which is used to control the lamp. They'll make an excellent addition to any modern interior setting! With the bulbs in place, each lamp stands approx. The orange base with socket measures approx. 3.25 tall, and has a diameter of approx.

2.25 measured across the bottom of the base. Condition: Both lamps are in excellent condition with no problems to report - no chips, cracks, scratches, breaks, repairs, etc. These are new old stock - don't think they were ever used before. The electrical wiring is in great shape - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. As with all vintage lighting and electronics, we always strongly urge having a licensed professional inspect before long-term use.
