Mid Century French Holophane Street Light. An authentic piece and the usual Holophane fine quality. Formerly a street light in France but now adapted to suit the home. It is substantial, well made & weighty, has "Holophane Devant (front)" stamped on the outside of the shade & "Holophane Made In France" stamped on the glass shades.

The prismatic glass shade is thick & undamaged, there is a glass reflecting shade inside the light as seen in the photos. The resulting lighting effect is actually quite soft, perfect for the home. It has an integral hanging bracket to connect to a hook in your ceiling but I can offer old chain, cut to size, should you want to hang the light lower from the ceiling. Overall Drop from ceiling 48cm.
