MID Century Purple Glass Cage Blown Lantern Hanging Bubble Light Murano Seguso

  

Here we have a superb, unusual cage blown glass light and shade. It really is a stunning, unique piece which has a wonderful look to it.

I believe this is Italian and was most probably made by Murano Seguso. It did have a modern bulb in the fitting so imagine it was used fairly recently, so I imagine the fitting itself works, but of course it will need rewiring by a qualified electrician. This piece is that nice/unusual you could just use it as a decorative item in and around your home. It has such a beautiful shape the light shines through it wonderfully. Fantastic mid century piece, unusual to find in this colour.
