Mid Century Modern , Brutalist Design Milk & Smoke Lucite pendant light. It has been completely re-wired with a half inch brushed stainless pole. The crown is a gilded bronze rococo piece. We could easily switch it to simple and stainless on request. It dates to 1955 to 60.

More on the brutalist style : Brutalism is an architectural or design style characterized by a deliberate plainness, crudity, and transparency that can often be interpreted as austere and menacing. It emerged in the mid-20th century and gained popularity in the late 1950s and 1960s.

This is a rare style in lighting , as usually it is employed in wooden furniture. This measures approx 20» from top to bottom of lucite , with the pole and crown it is about 30 ».

The pole decending from cieling can be changed by any lighting or electrician to any legnth. This is grat for a 8 to 9.5 cieling as is but if you have 12' cielings the adjustment is easy up to 40 to 48 inch decended height. The condition is as seen in photos , it is used due to its being 65 years old with some flaws and repairs. It is truly beautiful and We have had it for a number of years in our warehouse , but just found the time (pandemic) to electrify it. We tried to get every side in photos.
