Appleton G-5175 Vtg Industrial Walkway Garden Lights Outdoor Deck Mid Century

  
Here we have a beautiful example of an Appleton brand vaportight outdoor walk light, catalog number G-5175. These lights are ideal for outdoor environments, usually installed low to the ground for walkway lighting, and also look wonderful ceiling mounted or installed near eye level. This is a gorgeous set of durable outdoor industrial lights, and very scarce to find more than one of these at a time. This uncommon style of light fixture features a unique porcelain enameled triple tiered shade. Each light has been washed, lightly polished, rewired and tested, and is in working condition. The outer/top shade has some minor crazing or hazing on each, likely from being outdoors in the sunlight, but still has a beautiful green color and is in sturdy condition - crazing can also be managed with the occasional polishing. Each shade has some small chips to the enamel or minor surface rust here and there as such. All are in remarkable condition and very sturdy. The glass globe on each light is free of any major chips or scratches and is in very nice condition. The three brass screws on the top shade have been replaced, and the rest of the hardware on each fixture is original to the lamp. The socket in each light appears in excellent, clean condition and works perfectly. Each socket is also spring loaded and twist mounted for easy removal if necessary. The shade is also easily removable for access to change bulbs. 3/4 threaded pendant mount socket housing. Overall diameter of each light is approx 8 and 1/4.

I have included in this listing a photo of this particular model from my vintage Appleton Electric Mfg. This set of lights are the cleanest examples of this particular style fixture that I have ever seen for certain. Quite the unique pieces of antique industrial lighting!
